Women in Chemicals Announces Board of Directors Changes and Corporate Reorganization
Great Neck, NY — June 14, 2024 — Women in Chemicals, a leading advocate for gender diversity and inclusion within the chemicals industry, is pleased to announce changes to its Board of Directors and a corporate reorganization, effective July 1st.
Megan Gluth-Bohan, who has served on the Board of Directors for 1.5 years and previously on the Advisory Board for 2 years, will be stepping down from her position. During her tenure, Megan played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's direction and fostering a culture of empowerment and support for women in the industry.
In her place, Christine Grybos, the current Mentorship Program Chair, will join the Board of Directors and assume the newly created role of Programs Director. Christine brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to advancing women's careers in chemicals. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing programming, education, and mentorship initiatives, ensuring that Women in Chemicals continues to provide valuable resources and opportunities for its members.

As part of the corporate reorganization, Kylie Wittl will assume oversight of the finance and membership functions, taking on a critical role in ensuring the organization's operating stability and growth. Additionally, Amelia Greene, Executive Director, will transition to focusing her efforts on optimizing key stakeholder engagement, corporate partnerships, and governance responsibilities.

Regarding Christine Grybos's new role, Amelia Greene commented, "Christine Grybos has demonstrated exceptional discipline and thoughtfulness in building and bringing to market our mentorship program. I have no doubt that she will bring immense value to the rest of Women in Chemicals' programming, furthering our mission of empowering women in the chemicals industry."
Succeeding Christine in her Mentorship Program Chair role will be Kasia Jankowska, current Mentorship Program Coordinator.
